Description

This widefield view in the constellation Auriga contains:

The Spider - IC417 (SH2-234)  an emission nebula some 10,000 light years away

The Fly - NGC1931 (SH2-237) a smaller emission nebula around 7,000 light years away

The Starfish Cluster - M38 (NGC1912)  approximately 3500 light years away (according to WiKi) this open cluster contains around 100 stars and covers 20 arc minutes which corresponds to 13 light years.

Open Cluster - NGC1907 approximately 4500 light years away containing 30 stars (can you count them?)

Processed as HaRGB, the Ha component was extracted from 3h 50' of data using the Antlia 3nm Ha filter on my OSC camera
